About this file

This is a Statement of Work (SOW) for a security camera system installation project at the University of Arkansas in Fayetteville, AR. The project scope addresses the need to secure ARS research facilities by installing a monitored camera system to safeguard equipment, real property, facilities, personnel, and data from theft, vandalism, and damage.

The contractor must install a complete security camera system compatible with the existing Avigilon system, including all necessary cables, materials, and housings. The technical requirements specify installation of seven cameras with varying specifications: one 2 MP mini-dome camera with in-ceiling mount, one 5 MP indoor dome camera, sixteen 2 MP indoor dome cameras, and one 8 MP fisheye dome camera. Additionally, the contractor must provide two pendant housings and two camera brackets, all compatible with existing equipment. All cameras require a 1-year smart plan and license channel. The installation location is Sea Poultry Production and Product facility at 1260 W Maple Street, University of Arkansas, Room 0-303, Fayetteville, AR. Access to the facility is available during normal business operations, Monday through Friday, 7:30 AM to 4:30 PM, with restricted access during federal holidays.

Statement of Work (SOW) Project: Security Camera System- Fayetteville, AR

GENERAL INFORMATION

1.0 Scope of Work:

ARS research would be unsecured and unmonitored. Valuable assets, including equipment, real property, facilities, personnel, and data, would not be safeguarded from theft, vandalism, and other forms of damage. Additionally, the presence of a security camera deters potential criminal activity and intruders, providing real-time monitoring and alerts and contributing to a safe and secure environment for ARS personnel and their associated research.

2.0 Background:

We require Security Cameras installed in areas where ARS employees work. This system will need to be compatible with Avigilon system. We also require a camera license channel with a 1 year service plan. We would need the equipment to be compatible and all cables and materials supplied. The cameras need to range from 2 to 8 MP and be mini-dome with in-ceiling mount, indoor dome, and fisheye dome types, depending on the need for the space. Housings and brackets need to be included. The existing system is Avigilon and all cameras will need to be compatible with and integrate with existing systems.
