Request for Information (RFI) Aerial Application Solicitation No.:
1202NV20R0001
2 Dec 2019
Aerial Applications Solicitation No.: 1202NV20R0001
PURPOSE/DESCRIPTION:
The Government is conducting market research to identify potential sources that possess the expertise, capabilities, and experience to meet qualification requirements for helicopter aerial application services. Our procurement strategy is a five-year Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) contract for 2020 through 2024, base year with four optional years. Quantities are subject to change.
The Salmon-Challis National Forest (SCNF) is interesting in acquiring helicopter aerial application services for a five year period from 2020 through 2024, including services such as survey and inventory, herbicide application, seeding, mulching, etc. The master contract would be awarded to capable, experienced and qualified vendors who participate in the proposal process. Task orders would then be assigned through quotes to contractors to whom the master contract was awarded.
This request for information is intended to determine (a) the level of interest among possibly qualified vendors and (b) their capability to deliver the various aerial application services requested by the SCNF.
The Contractor shall furnish all material, support equipment, tools, test equipment, and services required for aerial application, unless otherwise specified by the task order.
Contractors responding to this market research are placed on notice that participation in this survey may not ensure participation in future solicitation or contract awards. The government will not reimburse participants for any expenses associated with their participation in this survey.
