(6) Evaluated Price.
Question received:
1. Are you looking for the Equipped Weight or HOGE payload in this space? We are only looking for the HOGE allowable.
2. Can you confirm that the payload you desire is non-jettisonable and should include the weight reduction and not a jettisonable payload where the weight reduction is not required? Load Calculation Allowable of 900lbs: We are asking for a HOGE non-jet allowable of 900lbs.
3. Can we bid with an aircraft we own or lease but is not on our 135 OPSPEC D085? It would be shortly after the BID due date and the weight would be at or under the bid weight for the contract? Aircraft needs to be on 135 certificate
4. Would we need Portable Electronic Device approved as stated in the modification for section B-7 even if we had non removable EFB with training program ect? What is the purpose of having a PED training program ect if other means are approved for non removable items? Not a factor we are going to remove the PED requirement f via amendment
5. Can additional safety features be subtracted from the bid weight. Example, can the extra weight of PolyCarb Bird resistant windows or stability augmentation systems (SAS) be subtracted. Asking because in the past the additional weight of dual hydraulic systems ( that added additional safety ) may have been able to be subtracted on equipped weight? No weight will be subtracted from the bid weight.
