About this file
This is an Award Memo issued by the State of Utah Division of Purchasing and General Services regarding the Clifton Flat Lop and Scatter contract. The procurement was conducted by the Department of Natural Resources for lop and scatter services as detailed in the attached Scope of Work. The solicitation was limited to prequalified contractors only, and participation required vendors to be on the current Pre-approved/Pre-qualified Vendor list. The contract is anticipated to result in a single award to the lowest cost responsive and responsible vendor. Project completion is required no later than December 10, 2026, with the awarded vendor required to guarantee its pricing through project completion. No mandatory site visit or bidder's conference was specified for this solicitation.
The award memo announces the State's intent to award the contract to a vendor identified in the accompanying award documentation, which is available on the public purchasing website. The awarded vendor must not commence work, purchase materials, or enter into subcontracts until both the recipient and the Division of Purchasing and General Services execute the contract or issue a purchase order. Receipt of the award notification does not constitute a contract; only an executed purchase order or signed contract creates a binding agreement. Vendors have seven days from the issuance of this notice to submit any written protests, which must clearly identify the solicitation and detail the nature of the objection.
