About this file
This is an Addendum (No. 1) dated March 27, 2025, for RFP 12-25 issued by the City of Peoria for Landscape Stewardship & Maintenance services. The addendum includes minutes from a pre-bid meeting held on March 21st and modifies Item 4.4 in the original RFP document, adjusting budget allocations to $300,000 for Labor & Equipment and $50,000 for Materials. The bid is set to open on March 27th, with electronic or hard copy submissions accepted. Council approval for contracts is anticipated on April 8th, and the project involves landscaping and maintenance of various city locations throughout the year.
Key details include requirements for contractors to provide their own tools, plant shrubs, flowers, and trees, remove debris, and maintain flower baskets. Contractors will not mow grassy areas, which are covered under a separate contract. Invoicing is required within 7 days of each work cycle, with separate invoices for each area submitted to Shawn Johnson. The city offers a 3% local purchasing preference during scoring and provides basket liners. Specific requirements include planting baskets prior to Mother's Day, considering plant selection for areas like Fulton Plaza (which may have dog urine exposure), and noting that some locations have existing irrigation. The facility on Dries Lane is explicitly excluded from the maintenance scope.
