About this file

The document is a Conflict of Interest Certification form for Connect Transit, a public transit agency. The form requires vendors bidding on the Facility Security Equipment Upgrade project to disclose any potential conflicts of interest between their firm's employees or officers and Connect Transit's staff, board members, or trustees. The certification specifically asks bidders to list any familial relationships (including blood and marriage relations extending to parents, children, grandparents, aunts, uncles, cousins, and other relatives) that might create a conflict of interest in the procurement process.

The related state and local contract opportunity involves a security system upgrade for two Connect Transit facilities in Illinois, seeking vendors to provide comprehensive security infrastructure including camera systems, access control, networking, and gate automation. The Request for Proposals (RFP) requires vendors to supply labor, materials, equipment, tools, supervision, and related services for designing, furnishing, installing, configuring, and commissioning a complete security system. While specific budget details are not provided in this document, the scope suggests a complex, technical procurement process that requires careful vendor screening to ensure transparency and prevent potential conflicts of interest.
