About this file

This is an Award Memo issued by the State of Utah Division of Purchasing and General Services announcing the intent to award a contract for mechanical mulching/shredder/mastication services related to the Big Park Road Mastication project (AS27-101) conducted by the State of Utah Division of Wildlife Resources. The solicitation was issued as an Invitation for Bid (IFB) limited to prequalified contractors only. All work must be completed between October 25, 2026, and December 1, 2026, with the vendor required to guarantee pricing through project completion. The evaluation of responses followed the criteria outlined in the solicitation documents. No mandatory site visit or bidders' conference was required for participation.

The award notification states that the intended awardee can be found in accompanying award documentation and on the public purchasing website under Supporting Documentation. Awarded vendors must not commence work, purchase materials, or enter into subcontracts until both the recipient and the Division of Purchasing and General Services execute the contract or issue a Purchase Order. The receipt of this award notification does not constitute a binding contract; only an executed PO or signed contract creates the contractual relationship. Vendors have seven days from the issuance of this notice to submit any formal protests in writing. The vendor community is reminded that receipt of an award notice does not authorize work commencement and that official contact regarding next steps will be provided by phone or email.
