About this file
This is a pre-proposal conference presentation for RFP 26-0251 issued by the City of Fort Worth, Texas, through its Financial Management Services department. The City seeks proposals for an Agreement to supply parts and materials for irrigation and grounds maintenance on an "as needed" basis to support the Park and Recreation and Aviation Departments. A pre-proposal conference was held on September 3, 2026, at 11:00 AM CST. Questions from prospective vendors are due by Tuesday, September 8, 2026, at 5:00 PM CST, and proposals must be submitted by Thursday, September 24, 2026, at 2:00 PM CST through the City's Bonfire Procurement Portal at https://fortworthtexas.bonfirehub.com/portal/?tab=login. All vendors are required to register in the Bonfire system; no hard copies or email submissions will be accepted. Debriefs will be scheduled upon request following the Intent to Award.
Vendors must meet minimum qualifications of three years of experience providing the parts and materials in each category for which they bid. Pricing shall be inclusive of all costs, including trip fees and fuel charges unless otherwise specified on the Bid Table (BT-23HQ), and must be submitted only on the designated bid table with no additional fees permitted. The City has implemented a 30% Small Business participation goal under Ordinance No. 27832-08-2025, which can be met through awarding the contract to a certified small business enterprise (SBE) or by subcontracting a portion of work to certified small businesses with valid certifications from approved agencies and principal places of business in Tarrant, Wise, Johnson, Parker, or Denton County. Evaluation will be based on 100 total available points, with preference given to vendors offering multiple product categories and those with experience supporting municipal governments, parks systems, golf courses, or large-scale grounds maintenance operations. Detailed specifications are contained in pages 1-12 of RFP-02-Scope of Services, with evaluation factors detailed on pages 13-17 of the same document.
