CONTRACTOR PREQUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS
General
The Jordan Basin Improvement District (OWNER) requests contractor prequalification statements for construction of multiple Mountain View Corridor sewer projects. This document describes the requirements for prequalification of contractors. The submittal requirements for prequalification statements and the evaluation criteria are included.
Purpose
The purpose of the prequalification process is to select those contractors the OWNER deems to be qualified and capable of completing the projects in conformance with the Contract Documents.
Only those firms that are prequalified by the OWNER will be allowed to submit bids. During the bidding process, additional qualifications set forth by the specifications will also need to be met by the prequalified contractor and/or associated subcontractors.
Selection as a prequalified contractor does not imply OWNER's acceptance or approval of the contractor's specific personnel, equipment, or methods, whether or not these items are described in the contractor's prequalification statement.
