About this file

This is a Requirements Response Matrix for Prince William County Public Schools' (PWCS) comprehensive assessment platform RFI, which seeks vendor solutions for division-wide assessment development, delivery, scoring, reporting, and analytics. The document serves as the primary tool for respondents to document their platform's capabilities against PWCS's specified requirements. PWCS welcomes both complete and partial responses that address applicable solution capabilities. The matrix does not establish procurement timelines, solicitation obligations, or award dates; rather, it is intended for market research, planning, and budgeting purposes to inform potential future procurement decisions.

The Requirements Response Matrix is organized into two primary sections: Part I contains 31 specific platform requirements designated as either "Currently Required Capability" or "Desired Capability," covering functional areas including accessibility and language support, assessment scoring and delivery, item types and multimedia content, standards alignment, data integration and reporting, user roles and permissions, implementation and training, and Question and Test Interoperability (QTI) compliance. Part II requests detailed vendor information regarding QTI support, including version compatibility, implementation limitations, technology-enhanced item functionality, accessibility preservation, and interoperability experience with other QTI-compliant systems. Vendors must indicate whether each requirement is fully supported, partially supported, not supported, or planned as a future enhancement, and must identify any additional costs associated with meeting specific requirements. The matrix requires vendors to provide explanatory comments addressing requirement applicability and support levels, with pricing details to be submitted separately in Section 6 of their response.
