About this file

This document contains the City of Charlotte Procurement Portal Instructions, providing detailed guidance for vendors interested in submitting proposals through the city's electronic procurement system. The instructions outline the process for submitting questions and bid submissions via the Bonfire platform (https://charlottenc.bonfirehub.com), with a strong recommendation that vendors begin the upload process at least a week before the project's posted deadline to ensure sufficient time for large file transfers.

The document specifies technical requirements for submission, including compatible web browsers (Microsoft Edge, Google Chrome, Mozilla Firefox) with Javascript and cookies enabled. Vendors can access technical support through Bonfire's help forum, email (Support@GoBonfire.com), or phone (1-800-354-8010). A five-minute training video is also available to assist vendors with registration and submission processes. All solicitation questions must be submitted electronically through the Vendor Discussions section of the respective project, and submissions must be completed entirely through the online procurement portal.
