About this file

This is a Bid Schedule document for the Department of Alcoholic Beverage Services within the State of Utah's Division of Facilities Construction and Management (DFCM) for the Vernal Store #28 Parking Lot Replacement project. The project involves removal and replacement of parking lot asphalt pavement, excavation and removal of existing base and subbase materials to 10 inches below finish grade with regrading to improve drainage to the storm drain collection system, placement of 4 inches of bituminous concrete mix over 6 inches of new aggregate base course, adjustment of valve boxes and storm drain sump manhole grates to finish grade with installation of concrete collars, and paint re-striping of the parking lot. This is an invitational bid opportunity limited to four pre-selected contractors: Andersen Asphalt (Cade Andersen), Miller Paving (Jamen Porter), Post Asphalt & Construction (Jeff Post), and Preferred Paving (Chase Collard). The construction cost estimate for the project is $105,000.00, and bonds are required for participation in this opportunity.

The bid schedule document establishes the framework for evaluation and submission of pricing proposals from the invited contractors. As an invitational procurement, only the four named contractors are permitted to submit bids and attend the mandatory bidders meeting associated with this project. The competitive bid process allows DFCM to select the most qualified and cost-effective contractor for completion of the parking lot replacement work within the specified budget parameters.
