About this file
This document provides guidance for reporting shipment data for individual shipments of hazardous materials and inert component parts within the continental United States or from overseas locations. Key details include:
Reports of Shipment (REPSHIPs) must include 15 data elements such as the shipment date, estimated time of arrival, required delivery date, carrier, bill of lading or manifest number, shipment name, container information, security risk category, hazard classifications, and contact information for the shipping activity. Shipments containing multiple units or cargo for one vessel transported in multiple conveyances require repeating the data elements in separate paragraphs. A separate REPSHIP is necessary for each mode of transport to the port of embarkation. Lot numbers, identification codes, and ammunition condition codes should be included where available.
The related federal contract opportunity is for KC-135 and C-17 fire cartridges from the Department of the Air Force Materiel Command Lifecycle Management Center at Hill Air Force Base. Solicitation and award dates were not provided.
