About this file

This document outlines specifications for a selective demolition and site preparation project. The USDA Forest Service is soliciting bids to decommission and remove an existing platform lift, ramp, stairs and associated structures at a boat launch. Demolition work includes tracing and disconnecting electrical wiring and preserving control boxes for relocation. Native backfill materials must be used to specified compaction levels, and finished surfaces must match surrounding areas. Restoration includes grading to blend contours and provide drainage. Unsuitable materials must be disposed of legally off-site. The related federal contract opportunity is for boat launch improvements at Hell Canyon Dam through the Department of Agriculture Forest Service R6-Pacific Northwest Region under solicitation number 1204M320R0003. Bids are due by the date specified in attached documentation.
