About this file
This document is a job aid or training guide dated July 8, 2016, that provides instructions for entering resellers on requisitions in the STAR procurement system. While the document does not specify particular states, agencies, or companies, it appears to be internal guidance for procurement personnel working within a government entity that utilizes the STAR system for processing purchase requisitions involving reseller relationships.
The document focuses on the procedural steps for properly identifying and selecting contract information when working with resellers rather than direct suppliers. It explains that when a reseller is listed as the supplier, the associated contract will not automatically appear in the standard Contract ID field, requiring users to locate the Reseller Contract ID field and manually enter the contract number in the "Buying Agreement ID" field to search for and select the appropriate contract. The guidance includes visual references to system screenshots and emphasizes the distinction between direct supplier contracts and reseller arrangements within the procurement workflow.
