Desk Chairs

The Illinois Educational Labor Relations Board (ELRB548) awarded a small purchase contract to Wiley Office Equipment for the procurement of office seating. The contract, valued at $2,902.00, involves the acquisition of four Herman Miller Verus Task Chairs with specific ergonomic configurations, including interweave 2 suspension back, adjustable lumbar support, black base/frame, and medley charcoal fabric. The purchase was facilitated through the Omnia Group Purchasing Organization (GPO) contract, which is approved by the Illinois Central Management Services.

The contract's period of performance spans from August 5, 2025, to September 16, 2025, with a lead time of 4-5 weeks for furniture delivery. The quote includes installation services for the Chicago office, priced at $250.00, and encompasses a 90-day warranty for parts and labor, supplementing the manufacturer's standard warranty. The procurement appears to be a targeted acquisition to upgrade office seating for the Illinois Educational Labor Relations Board, utilizing a competitively sourced purchasing vehicle to ensure cost-effective procurement of office furniture.
