Owens & Minor Distribution, Inc., a for-profit medical and surgical supplies provider, has been awarded a single-award Indefinite Delivery Contract worth up to $5 million from the Defense Logistics Agency. This 5-year contract vehicle, referred to as the Strategic Programs for Expeditionary, Contingency, and Humanitarian Operations (SPE2CH) initiative, tasks Owens & Minor with providing equipment and provisions to support the Tactical Radio Over-the-Horizon Relay (TRBO) program and Region 3 contingency response missions.
Through firm fixed-price delivery orders issued against the SPE2CH contract, Owens & Minor will leverage its distribution network and supply chain expertise to deliver a diverse catalog of medical commodities, including wound care products, patient apparel, surgical instruments, intravenous therapy supplies, and other hospital provisions to military treatment facilities worldwide. The contract has no set-aside designation, and performance will primarily occur at Owens & Minor's Mechanicsville, Virginia distribution center.
