The USDA Forest Service's Southwestern Region awarded a multiple-award Basic Ordering Agreement (BOA) contract to RLA Holdings, Inc., a certified HUBZone small business, to provide portable toilets, handwashing stations, and associated services in support of wildland fire management, land stewardship, and visitor amenities programs across National Forests and Grasslands in the Southwestern United States. The original solicitation was a 100% small business set-aside with a ceiling value of $7,500,000 and a period of performance from June 2024 to June 2027.
Under this BOA, the Forest Service has issued several firm-fixed-price delivery orders to RLA Holdings totaling over $33,000 for the provision of specialized vehicles, portable sanitation equipment, facilities maintenance, and operational assistance such as weed washing units and water handling. These task orders support the agency's emergency response and resource protection missions in locations across Arizona and New Mexico. RLA Holdings' status as a HUBZone certified small business allows the Forest Service to leverage a readily available contractor base to quickly mobilize these mission-critical services as needed.
