ANTICIPATED OUTCOMES INCLUDE INCREASED KNOWLEDGE AMONG FARMERS RANCHERS PROCESSORS AND OTHER STAKEHOLDERS REGARDING ACCESSING PRODUCING AND PRESERVING LOCALLY AND REGIONALLY PRODUCED AGRICULTURAL PRODUCTS ALONGSIDE EXPANDED CAPACITY AND EFFICIENCY WITHIN THE REGIONAL FOOD SYSTEM. THIS PROJECT WILL SUPPORT THE DEVELOPMENT OF STRONGER FOOD SYSTEMS WITHIN KANSAS PARTICULARLY IN GEOGRAPHICAL POCKETS OF POVERTY BY FACILITATING CONNECTIONS BETWEEN PRODUCERS AND CONSUMERS AND CONTRIBUTING TO A MORE ROBUST AND RESILIENT REGIONAL FOOD ECONOMY.
