Future Society Center

Future Society Center is a foreign government community development corporation registered to do business with the U.S. federal government. The organization supports cultural exchange and public diplomacy activities between the United States and Georgia through the management and operation of American Corners.

Future Society Center has received over $600,000 in cooperative agreements and grants from the U.S. Department of State's Bureau of Educational and Cultural Affairs and Bureau of European and Eurasian Affairs between 2019-2022. The awards have supported the operations, strategic programming, and expansion of American Corners activities in Georgia, including operating existing spaces, planning public diplomacy programs, purchasing technology, training personnel, and developing English language curricula. Specifically, Future Society Center utilizes grant funding to conduct cultural programs at American Corner locations that promote mutual understanding through educational and cultural exchanges between the U.S. and Georgia. The organization also complements support provided by the Department's Office of American Spaces program, which establishes centers worldwide to provide public access to information on the United States.
