About this program

The Department of Health and Human Services Health Resources and Services Administration funds the development and operation of Nurse-Managed Health Clinics under Assistance Listing 93.515, with the most recent grant awards dated September 30, 2010.

This program has not awarded grants since 2010. The portfolio consists of ten Project Grants totaling $14.5 million in federal dollars obligated, all disbursed in a single cohort on September 30, 2010, with completion dates spanning 2013 to 2014. No grant opportunities have been posted recently, and no evidence of ongoing solicitation activity is present in the source material.

When active, the program funded the establishment and operation of nurse-managed primary health clinics in medically underserved areas, with explicit focus on improving access to primary care, disease prevention, and health promotion; expanding structured clinical teaching sites for undergraduate and graduate nursing students; and developing electronic systems for patient and workforce data collection. The program targeted capacity-building for nurse practitioners within the primary care workforce.

Representative awards included Project Grant T56HP20657 for $1,496,247, Project Grant T56HP20655 for $1,363,398, and Project Grant T56HP20658 for $1,493,634. All ten awards were issued by the Health Resources and Services Administration.

Do not pursue this program. The 16-year gap since the last award, combined with the absence of recent solicitation activity, indicates the program is no longer active.
