The design fee is negotiable with the most qualified consultant. The estimated construction budget totals $8.7 million, comprising $5.3 million for Phase 1 renovation of existing labs and $3.4 million for Phase 2 relocation of the Construction Lab, inclusive of base bid, change order allowances, commissioning, testing, and equipment. The design period runs November 2026 through August 2027, with bidding September 2027 through December 2027, pre-construction January 2028 through May 2028, and construction May 2028 through August 2029. A facility tour and review of existing drawings can be arranged by contacting Richard Merritt, Purchase Associate, at 315-312-2208.
