About this opportunity

Memphis Light, Gas and Water Division (MLGW) is requesting quotations for TX/RX tower top amplifier and multicoupler equipment—two units total—with quotes due September 22, 2026 at 2:00 p.m. Pacific Time and delivery required by September 25, 2026. This is an invited-supplier-only solicitation, a material eligibility constraint.

The scope comprises three specific components: a 434B-83H-01-T TTA operating at 792–824 MHz with AutoQuad functionality, a 434B-83H-01-M-110 Multicoupler at 792–824 MHz, and an 89-86A-03-10 Preselector at 806–824 MHz with 10 MHz bandwidth. Bidders must identify the manufacturer and catalog number of quoted equipment in the note-to-buyer field. If alternates to approved products are proposed, supporting datasheets must accompany the bid. Lead time information must be noted at the line level.

Pricing is FOB Memphis, Tennessee, prepaid and allowed. Delivery is to the Electric System Operations Facility at 2425 Covington Pike, Memphis, Tennessee. MLGW allows invoice processing of a minimum 30 days. Suppliers may provide multiple responses but must respond with full quantity on each line item. MLGW reserves the right to close the negotiation before the close date or manually extend it while open.

The contract will be awarded as a standard purchase order. Sellers must maintain all records related to the purchase order for three years following final payment and are subject to MLGW's debarment policies and sheltered market provisions for locally owned small businesses. The RFQ incorporates comprehensive terms governing acceptance, compliance with applicable law, delivery, seller warranties, intellectual property, nondiscrimination, and environmental sustainability.
