About this opportunity

Williamson County is soliciting qualifications from engineering firms to provide traffic engineering services supporting planning, design, and project review across the County Road Bond Program, Road and Bridge Division, Development Services & Drainage Division, and County Facilities, with qualifications due August 18, 2026. The County anticipates selecting approximately three firms, though the Commissioners Court reserves discretion to select more or fewer.

Respondents must certify compliance with Texas Government Code provisions, including boycott certifications regarding Israel, energy companies, and firearm and ammunition industries (applicable to firms with ten or more full-time employees bidding on contracts valued at $100,000 or more paid from public funds); restrictions on business with Iran, Sudan, and foreign terrorist organizations; and confirmation of not being debarred from doing business in Texas. Respondents must also certify that proposals were not prepared in collusion and that they have not engaged in price-fixing or other anti-competitive practices within the past six months.

Other Texas agencies may piggyback on Williamson County awards resulting from this solicitation, with the exception of professional services. Failure to provide accurate certifications may result in contract termination and payment withholding.
