About this opportunity
Westchester Medical Center Health Network (WMCHealth) is requesting proposals for comprehensive technology support services across its enterprise healthcare system, with proposals due July 22, 2026 at 4:00 p.m. Eastern time and a Letter of Intent due July 8, 2026. The RFP encourages good-faith efforts toward Minority and Women-Owned Business Enterprise (MWBE) participation but does not establish a set-aside or participation goal.
WMCHealth operates nine hospitals across eight campuses in the Hudson Valley region, employing more than 12,000 people and serving 1,782 beds. The vendor will provide end-to-end desktop and end-user device support for approximately 16,000 end users across acute care hospitals, ambulatory locations, skilled nursing facilities, administrative offices, and remote sites. Services include device lifecycle management, onsite deployment and imaging, break/fix support, inventory tracking, service desk integration, and escalation coordination measured through defined KPIs and SLAs. Coverage is initially regional during business hours, with dedicated onsite staff at major locations in Valhalla (South), Poughkeepsie, Kingston, and Margaretville (North), and Suffern, Port Jervis, and Warwick (West). The vendor must operate within WMCHealth's existing ITSM platform and enterprise systems. WMCHealth will retain responsibility for hardware procurement, warranty management, OEM coordination, and replacement parts.
The base contract term is one year with four optional one-year renewal periods, with a tentative start date of September 1, 2026. Three entities will serve as contracting parties: Westchester County Health Care Corporation (Westchester Medical Center and MidHudson Regional Hospital), Bon Secours Charity Health System, Inc. (three hospitals), and HealthAlliance of the Hudson Valley (Broadway Campus). Vendors must propose clear, scalable pricing by task and phase with optional fixed annual escalators or CPI adjustments; no current budget or incumbent data is disclosed. Insurance requirements include general liability ($5 million), professional liability ($2 million), and cyber liability ($5 million). Award will be based on best value, with evaluation criteria including customer service focus, proven track record, scope capability, references, and fees. Questions are due July 10, 2026. No site visits or bidder conferences will be held.
