About this opportunity

Memphis Light, Gas and Water Division (MLGW) is requesting quotations for storeroom materials under multiple line items with quotations closing October 19, 2026 at 2:00 p.m. Pacific Time and delivery needed by November 13, 2026. The solicitation is restricted to invited suppliers only, and bidders must submit LSB (Locally Owned Small Business) certification with their response.

The procurement spans three distinct product categories. First, safety vests in two configurations — six medium Pyramex RVZ3110M vests and 118 extra-large Iron Horse MS3287L vests — each meeting ANSI/ISEA 107-2010 Class 3 specifications with high-visibility fluorescent yellow coloring, reflective striping, and non-metallic zippers. Second, self-bonding linerless ethylene propylene rubber (EPR) electrical insulating tape at 1-1/2" width × 0.030" thickness × 30' length rolls, manufactured per ASTM Designation D 1373; the specified manufacturer is 3M Scotch 130C, though alternates may be proposed with supporting data sheets. Bidders proposing products other than those on the approved list must submit manufacturer data sheets and lead time information with their quotations.

Pricing must be all-inclusive with no additional charges permitted without express written consent from MLGW. Shipment is FOB Memphis, Tennessee to 1060 Tupelo Street, with freight prepaid and allowed. Payment processing requires a minimum of 30 days. All goods must comply with federal, state, and local laws and meet merchantable quality and non-infringement warranties under the Fair Labor Standards Act. The procurement is subject to Tennessee law and Shelby County jurisdiction. Questions and submissions should be directed to Lucy Vick-Watson at Lucy.Vick-Watson@mlgw.org.
