The project requires complete dredging operations including de-watering, sediment excavation and removal, stockpiling, site restoration, and native grass seeding across approximately 1.17 acres with an estimated 3.5 feet of accumulated sediment (6,500–7,000 cubic yards). The contractor must submit itemized cost proposals covering mobilization and demobilization, de-watering, dredging, stockpile management, turf protection, grading, seeding, erosion control, permits, and contingency costs, with a lump-sum total. Pre-proposal site visits with the Golf Course Superintendent are strongly encouraged.
Minimum qualifications include three completed lake or pond dredging projects within the past five years with current client references, evidence of adequate bonding capability, current licensing, and demonstrated financial stability. Required insurance includes Commercial General Liability of $1 million per occurrence and $2 million aggregate, Workers' Compensation per statutory requirements, and Automobile Liability of $1 million combined single limit, with Riverdale Knolls Golf Course named as Additional Insured.
The project must commence the second week of December 2026 with substantial completion required by the end of February 2027. A 5% bid bond is required at proposal submission; performance and payment bonds at 100% of contract value are required upon award. A 5% retainage fee applies to construction contracts, with liquidated damages for schedule delays. Award will be made to the bidder providing best value based on relevant experience, quality of work plan and methodology, cost competitiveness, schedule feasibility, and references. The contract is contingent on fund availability. Proposals must be submitted electronically through Bidnet Direct (https://www.bidnetdirect.com/colorado/adams-county).
