About this opportunity
The Southwest Ohio Regional Transit Authority (SORTA) is requesting quotations for 53 line items of transit bus inventory parts, with quotes due August 31, 2026 at 11:00 a.m. through the e-Procurement Portal at https://procurement.opengov.com/portal/go-metro. Bids submitted outside the portal will be considered non-responsive.
The scope spans switches, valves, sensors, wheels, filters, gaskets, harnesses, and various mechanical and electrical assemblies for transit buses, with quantities per item ranging from one to twenty units. All pricing must be all-inclusive of freight charges. Bidders must specify lead time in days in the NOTES column of the bid table to reflect the time required to fulfill the entire delivered quantity; stock quotes are still subject to lead-time notation. If a quoted part differs from the original equipment manufacturer part number specified, the vendor must identify the alternative part number in the format (RM#######). Any applicable core fees must be entered in the NOTES field. Quotes are valid for thirty days from submission.
Award will be made to the responsible bidder submitting the lowest responsive price. SORTA will evaluate bidder responsibility based on character and integrity, absence of debarment or suspension, compliance with affirmative action and Disadvantaged Business Enterprise requirements, financial resources, technical capability, delivery schedules, and past performance records.
The supply chain coordinator is David Drummonds at 1401 Bank Street, Cincinnati, Ohio 45214, reachable at ddrummonds@go-metro.com or (513) 632-7548.

RFQ Bid Form Instructions
BIDS NOT SUBMITTED THROUGH E-PROCUREMENT PORTAL WILL BE CONSIDERED NON-RESPONSIVE
PLEASE CONTACT THE BUYER DIRECTLY WITH ANY QUESTIONS OR PROBLEMS WITH A BID
• All suppliers shall utilize the pricing table within the E-procurement portal. Bids received in other formats may be considered non-responsive.
• Items of Importance:
- All quotes must have the freight included in the price.
- Lead time: L/T must be noted in the NOTES column in the bid table. This is the lead-time required to fulfill the entire delivered qty on the RFQ. Lead-time should be in days only and reflect the number of days required to fulfill the entire delivered qty on the RFQ.
- "Stock" quotes are subjective and will still require a L/T in days for us to fairly evaluate bids.
- If the part is not OEM or the specific part # requested, please put the following format in the lead time notes with the specific part # you are quoting. (RM#######)
- Enter any Core fee in the NOTES field located in the pricing table
- If you do not carry a part, please select "no bid."
