About this opportunity
Southwest Ohio Regional Transit Authority (SORTA) is requesting quotations for 32 line items of inventory parts necessary for transit vehicle operations under RFQ 5427, with quotations due August 20, 2026 at 11:00 a.m. — the same day as posting.
The scope covers specialized transit vehicle components including solenoids, valves, clamps, sensors, absorbers, and glass assemblies, with quantities ranging from single units to 24 units per line item. All quotations must reference original equipment manufacturer (OEM) part numbers as specified; if an alternative part is quoted, bidders must document the substitute part number in format (RM#######). Bidders must note lead times in calendar days required to fulfill entire delivered quantities in the pricing table's notes column and include all freight charges within quoted unit prices. Any core fees must be documented in the notes field. Quotes remain valid for 30 days from submission.
All bids must be submitted electronically through SORTA's e-Procurement Portal at https://procurement.opengov.com/portal/go-metro. Submissions in formats other than the portal pricing table will be considered non-responsive. The contract will be awarded to the responsible bidder submitting the lowest responsive bid. SORTA reserves the right to accept or reject any or all bids in their entirety or in part. Award decisions will consider bidder responsibility factors including character, integrity, debarment status, compliance with DBE requirements, financial resources, technical capability, past performance, and ability to meet delivery schedules.

RFQ Bid Form Instructions
BIDS NOT SUBMITTED THROUGH E-PROCUREMENT PORTAL WILL BE CONSIDERED NON-RESPONSIVE
PLEASE CONTACT THE BUYER DIRECTLY WITH ANY QUESTIONS OR PROBLEMS WITH A BID
• All suppliers shall utilize the pricing table within the E-procurement portal. Bids received in other formats may be considered non-responsive.
• Items of Importance:
- All quotes must have the freight included in the price.
- Lead time: L/T must be noted in the NOTES column in the bid table. This is the lead-time required to fulfill the entire delivered qty on the RFQ. Lead-time should be in days only and reflect the number of days required to fulfill the entire delivered qty on the RFQ.
- "Stock" quotes are subjective and will still require a L/T in days for us to fairly evaluate bids.
- If the part is not OEM or the specific part # requested, please put the following format in the lead time notes with the specific part # you are quoting. (RM#######)
- Enter any Core fee in the NOTES field located in the pricing table
- If you do not carry a part, please select "no bid."
