About this opportunity

The Southwest Ohio Regional Transit Authority (SORTA) is requesting quotations for 95 line items of inventory parts to support transit bus operations under RFQ 5405, with quotations due July 23, 2026 at 11:00 a.m. This is a same-day turnaround solicitation.

The scope covers diverse bus components and engine parts — fuel system components, sensors, gaskets, bearings, fasteners, lighting assemblies, and structural elements — with quantities ranging from single units to 30 units per line item. All quotations must be submitted electronically through the e-Procurement Portal at https://procurement.opengov.com/portal/go-metro. Bids submitted outside the portal or in non-standard formats will be considered non-responsive.

All pricing must be all-inclusive of freight. Bidders must note lead time in days in the NOTES column to fulfill the entire delivered quantity; "stock" quotes still require a lead-time notation. If quoting non-OEM or substitute parts, bidders must identify the alternative part number in format (RM#######). Bidders who do not carry specific parts must select "no bid" for those line items. Any applicable core fees must be entered in the NOTES field of the pricing table.

Quotes are valid for 30 days from submission. Award will be made to the responsible bidder submitting the lowest responsive bid. SORTA will evaluate bidder responsibility based on character, integrity, reputation, financial capability, technical skills, past performance, and compliance with applicable federal, state, and local regulations, including DBE and FTA requirements.

Contact: David Drummonds, Supply Chain Coordinator, ddrummonds@go-metro.com or (513) 632-7548.

RFQ Bid Form Instructions

BIDS NOT SUBMITTED THROUGH E-PROCUREMENT PORTAL WILL BE CONSIDERED NON-RESPONSIVE

PLEASE CONTACT THE BUYER DIRECTLY WITH ANY QUESTIONS OR PROBLEMS WITH A BID

• All suppliers shall utilize the pricing table within the E-procurement portal. Bids received in other formats may be considered non-responsive.

• Items of Importance:

  1. All quotes must have the freight included in the price.
  2. Lead time: L/T must be noted in the NOTES column in the bid table. This is the lead-time required to fulfill the entire delivered qty on the RFQ. Lead-time should be in days only and reflect the number of days required to fulfill the entire delivered qty on the RFQ.
  3. "Stock" quotes are subjective and will still require a L/T in days for us to fairly evaluate bids.
  4. If the part is not OEM or the specific part # requested, please put the following format in the lead time notes with the specific part # you are quoting. (RM#######)
  5. Enter any Core fee in the NOTES field located in the pricing table
  6. If you do not carry a part, please select "no bid."
