Tarrant County College District is requesting proposals for RFP #26-016, Food Service Renovations at Multiple Campuses, with proposals due October 14, 2026. The project spans three campuses: Northeast Campus in Hurst, Southeast Campus in Arlington, and South Campus in Fort Worth, each requiring kitchen and food service area renovations centered on fryer equipment installation and associated infrastructure upgrades.
The scope encompasses removal and salvage of existing equipment; purchase and installation of new food service equipment; selective demolition; modifications to existing conditions; and installation or modification of electrical, mechanical, exhaust, ductwork, and utilities to support the new equipment. Work includes cutting, patching, repairs, testing and balancing, metal fabrication where indicated, and coordination within occupied facilities. All work must comply with TCCD Technical Design Guidelines and applicable Contract Documents requirements.
At South Campus, the Base Bid includes a $30,000 cash allowance for potential repairs or replacement of existing ductwork associated with the hood serving the new fryer, based on investigation of existing conditions. At Southeast Campus, an alternate is included for replacement of the existing exhaust fan, subject to HVAC testing and balancing findings.
The work is to be performed under a single prime, lump-sum construction contract. The contract requires all labor, materials, equipment, supervision, coordination, and incidentals necessary to complete the project as specified in the Contract Documents. Place of performance includes all three named campuses.
