About this opportunity

The Ohio Department of Natural Resources (ODNR) is seeking to procure a Snowdogg VXF11 Snow Plow with RapidLink VXF9511 and a 92441SSA Salt Dog Electric Under Tailgate Spreader for Jesse Owens State Park, located in Montgomery County. The equipment is specifically designed for snow and ice removal and is compatible with a Ford F450 with a 16,000 GVWR. The procurement will be conducted through a Request for Quotation (RFQ) process, with the contract to be awarded to the lowest responsive and responsible bidder based on a low lot total evaluation method. Delivery of the equipment is required by June 15, 2025, to the park's address at 4470 E. State Route 78, McConnelsville, OH. The successful bidder must provide two examples of similar completed projects with references and photographs, and must complete a pre-award meeting with DNR staff to ensure mutual understanding of materials and project scope. The solicitation's due date is May 9, 2025, and the contract is valid through June 30, 2025.

While no specific set-aside designations or restrictions on respondent types are explicitly mentioned in the documents, the procurement follows standard Ohio state contracting guidelines outlined in the DAS Standard Terms and Conditions. The total project budget is not specified, but the procurement is for specific snow removal equipment for a state park. Potential bidders must comply with various state requirements, including using the OhioBuys procurement platform, obtaining an OH|ID for system access, and completing an Affirmation and Disclosure Form that details service and data location information. Contractors must affirm compliance with Executive Orders regarding offshore services and data location restrictions. Invoicing for the project must follow strict guidelines, including submission directly to Ohio Shared Services with complete documentation such as purchase order numbers, supplier information, and itemized service descriptions. Failure to provide complete invoice information will result in returned invoices and potential payment delays.
