Bidders must hold a California Contractors' State License Classification B. The contract is awarded on a lump-sum basis to the lowest responsive and responsible bidder. Prevailing wage rates determined by the Department of Industrial Relations as of February 2026 apply, and contractors must register with the Department of Industrial Relations prior to bidding. Bidders must provide bidder's security equal to at least 10% of the bid amount. Performance and payment bonds, each for 100% of the contract price, are required upon award. Contract documents are available through the Cal eProcure website. Public bid opening occurs September 24, 2026 at 10:00 a.m. Award is contingent upon availability of funds through the State's normal budget process.
