About this opportunity

The School Board of Lee County, Florida, is seeking comprehensive printing services and supplies through Invitation to Negotiate (ITN) No. N257515DB. The procurement aims to establish a multi-vendor contract for printing services across district schools, including elementary, middle, high schools, and special centers. Required services encompass digital and offset printing, large-format work, banners, signs, student planners, brochures, envelopes, test assessments, instructional workbooks, and various binding and finishing services. Proposals will be evaluated on company information, corporate overview, service capabilities, samples, pricing, and references using a weighted scoring system. Electronic proposals must be submitted through the Bonfire Platform by November 7, 2025, at 2:00 PM EST, with an anticipated three-year contract term and potential renewals for up to six years total. The district requires a standard quote turnaround time of one to two business days and a seven-day delivery timeline, with pricing to be all-inclusive covering materials, equipment, labor, and associated costs.

The solicitation does not explicitly mention specific set-aside designations or restrictions for disadvantaged enterprises. Vendors must provide comprehensive documentation, including proof of insurance with specific coverage limits for Workers' Compensation, Commercial General Liability, and Automobile Liability. Proposers are required to complete various certification forms demonstrating compliance with state regulations, including drug-free workplace standards and public entity crime guidelines. While no specific budget range is detailed, the contract appears designed to support multiple concurrent print jobs across the district's various educational institutions. The procurement allows for multiple awardees to ensure flexibility and capacity during high-demand periods. Vendors must submit detailed pricing information across 81 line items covering various paper types, sizes, printing configurations, and additional services, with the ability to offer a percentage discount on remaining line items. The School Board reserves the right to negotiate with top-ranked proposers and may conduct optional interviews to make final selections.
