The estimated contract cost is $200,000. The contract term begins upon Department of General Services approval and extends through December 30, 2027, with construction completion required within forty-five working days of Notice to Proceed. No work is permitted between March 1 and August 31 due to bird-nesting and sensitive environmental requirements. The contractor must hold a California General Engineering or General Building Contractor license with C22 (Asbestos Abatement) classification and a Lead-Related Certificate from the Department of Public Health; these may be subcontracted if not held by the prime. Prevailing wage under California Labor Code applies. Bid security of at least 10% of the bid amount is required. Award will be made on the basis of the lowest responsive bid.
