The scope includes maintenance, replacement, and addition of pavement markings via long line and short line thermoplastic installation, skip lines, hand-placed thermoplastic installation, and paint and thermoplastic removal by grinding. All work must be completed within 14 days of written notification; failure to meet this deadline incurs penalties of $150 per day. This is a five-year on-call contract running from August 14, 2026 through August 13, 2031 with no guaranteed minimum or maximum quantities. Award will be made to the lowest responsible and responsive bidder based on unit prices with extended prices calculated by line item. No sales or use taxes should be included in pricing. Payment is issued upon completion and acceptance of work at each location by the Resident Maintenance Engineer, subject to final approval by the South Carolina Transportation Secretary. Award notification is scheduled for August 6, 2026. No pre-bid conference is scheduled. The solicitation is exempt from certain procurement requirements under South Carolina Code Section 11-35-710(1).
