About this opportunity
The Purchasing Division of the City of Baton Rouge and East Baton Rouge Parish is requesting sealed bids for seventeen thermal imagers (Bullard DXT-N Bundle or approved equivalent) under IFB M9387, with bids due November 10, 2026 at 11:00 a.m. CST and questions due by November 3, 2026 at 5:00 p.m. CST.
The equipment must comply with NFPA 1930 standards and deliver specified technical performance: 320×256 pixel uncooled vanadium oxide focal plane array, 3.5-inch IPS LCD screen, wireless battery charging, minimum six hours continuous runtime, submersion tolerance to three feet of water for 30 minutes, and six-foot drop survival without operational damage. A five-year warranty covering the unit, battery, and all installed features is required. Manufacturers must be located in the U.S.A. and maintain full-service repair centers in both the U.S.A. and Germany — a sourcing constraint that limits eligible suppliers.
All products must be new and current with minimum one-year written warranty from delivery or acceptance. Pricing is Net 30, F.O.B. Destination, with all freight prepaid by the vendor. Bid prices must remain valid for a minimum of sixty days.
Delivery is to the Fire Department at 8011 Merle Gustafson, Baton Rouge, Louisiana. Sealed bids must be submitted through www.centralbidding.com using City-Parish proposal forms, manually signed and typed or written in ink, to the Purchasing Division at 222 St. Louis Street, 8th Floor, Room 826, Baton Rouge, Louisiana 70802.
The City-Parish encourages certified Small, Minority, and Women-owned business participation and operates as an equal opportunity employer. Bidders must comply with the Davis-Bacon Act, Clean Water Act, Copeland Anti-Kickback Act, and applicable debarment and suspension requirements. Louisiana law governs the resulting contract.
