About this opportunity

The State of Nevada, Office of the Military, is requesting bids for landscaping and irrigation repair services at the Las Vegas Readiness Center, with proposals due August 11, 2026 through NevadaEPO.

The scope encompasses replacement of an irrigation controller, installation of one 24-inch box Shoestring Acacia tree and five 5-gallon trailing Rosemary plants, provision and planting of forty 5-gallon barrel cacti, installation of new drip lines and emitters for existing and new plantings, replacement and installation of three 1-inch rip valves with complete assemblies, soil preparation and finishing grades, relocation of an existing isolation valve near a palm tree, and replenishment of 3/8-inch to 1/2-inch rock in areas where new irrigation was installed. The contractor must provide all materials, tools, hardware, labor, and proper disposal of removed materials.

Work is performed Monday through Friday, 7:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. at 4500 West Silverado Ranch Boulevard, Las Vegas, Nevada — a secure military facility. All personnel must complete a Nevada National Guard Personal Security Questionnaire and pass background clearance.

The contract term runs from Board of Examiners approval through June 30, 2027, with work to begin upon approval. Bidders must submit detailed base pricing and hourly rates for as-needed or emergency services. Proposals may be structured on a one-time, as-needed, quarterly, semi-annual, or annual basis across four fiscal years if applicable.

Contractors must hold a Nevada Business License, Nevada Contractors License if applicable, and provide proof of Commercial General Liability insurance with $2,000,000 general aggregate limits, Commercial Auto insurance with $1,000,000 combined single limit, and Workers Compensation insurance. A one-year warranty on all workmanship and materials is required from substantial completion. Payment is made within 30 days of invoice receipt and agency approval. Site visits may be scheduled by contacting the Las Vegas Area Point of Contact. Award is contingent on State and Federal funding availability, and the State reserves the right to reject any or all proposals.
