The scope includes migratory bird and bald eagle nest surveys, selective clearing of underbrush and trees, herbicide application, debris removal and disposal, tree removal and pruning, seedling and live stake supply and planting, and vegetation control. A performance and payment bond for the full contract amount is required prior to work commencement. Harris County reserves the right to award to multiple vendors designated as Primary and Secondary, and may terminate the contract at any time at its discretion. The contract includes four one-year renewal options subject to Commissioners Court approval, with annual price adjustments capped at four percent and indexed to CPI-W. Purchase orders will be issued in annual increments, and if vendors fail to deliver within their specified timeframes, Harris County may procure on the open market and deduct excess costs from vendor invoices. Vendors are responsible for all toll and parking fees incurred during performance. Invoices must include certified payroll records and lien waivers if applicable, with payment terms Net 30 from HCFCD approval.

Written questions are due through the Bonfire platform by the deadline specified on the Events Schedule. No contract value is disclosed in the source material.
