About this opportunity

Lamar Institute of Technology is requesting bids for non-exclusive indefinite delivery/indefinite quantity printing services covering six specialty product categories, with bids due August 12, 2026 at 2:30 p.m. CDT. Awards may be made to multiple vendors with no minimum guaranteed orders.

The scope encompasses postcards (Category A), brochures and rack cards (Category B), programs and booklets in various sizes and colors (Category C), bi-fold greeting cards (Category D), posters in multiple dimensions and finishes (Category E), and corrugated yard signs (Category F). Item quantities range from single units to 5,000 units depending on product type. Pricing must be quoted F.O.B. destination, prepaid and allowed basis, with freight and delivery charges stated separately or indicated as included in item prices.

The initial contract term runs from award date through December 31, 2027, with options for renewal for up to two additional consecutive one-year terms. Either party may terminate without cause upon 30 calendar days' advance written notice. Any price increases during renewal periods require LIT's written acceptance before becoming effective.

Evaluation criteria emphasize best value to LIT, considering delivery costs, life cycle costs, quality and reliability, and delivery terms. Bidders must provide completed bid forms and W-9 documentation with submissions. All bidders must obtain either a Texas Identification Number or Federal Employer Identification Number prior to contract award. A group purchasing clause allows other Texas institutions of higher education to enter into separate agreements based on these terms and conditions.

Bids must be received only by mail, courier, or hand delivery (Monday–Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.) to the Cashier's Office in Beaumont, Texas; telephone, facsimile, and electronic submissions will not be accepted. Kristie Cardenas, Procurement Specialist II, is the sole point of contact for bidder inquiries.
