About this opportunity

The City of Orlando, Florida is requesting bids on hydrogen sulfide control services for municipal wastewater lift stations and force mains under IFB26-0556, with bids due September 9, 2026 at 2:00 PM through the City's e-Procurement Portal.

The scope requires the contractor to implement corrosion and odor control by dosing hydrogen peroxide and Peroxide Regenerated Iron Sulfide Control (PRISC) at three locations: Lift Stations #1 and #7 at 1300 East South Street and Lift Station #248 at 900 Bennett Road. The contractor furnishes all materials, equipment, labor, and machinery necessary for dosing equipment installation and operation; the City provides water and 110-volt electricity at each site. Chemical specifications are ferrous chloride solution (24–28% concentration) and hydrogen peroxide 50% solution, technical grade.

The contract is awarded for an initial one-year term beginning upon approval and execution, with options to renew for four additional twelve-month periods, up to a cumulative total of sixty months. All respondents must register as followers on the e-Procurement Portal and submit responses exclusively through that system.

Submission requirements include completed forms (References, Respondent's Certification, Contract and Acceptance, Conflict of Interest Disclosure, Confidential and Proprietary Information Exemption, Human Trafficking Affidavit, Veteran Business Enterprise Participation, and Small and Local Business Enterprise Participation), a current W-9 form, and proof of insurance. A non-mandatory pre-bid conference is scheduled for August 24, 2026 at 10:00 AM via Microsoft Teams. The deadline for bidder questions is August 31, 2026 at 5:00 PM. Responses received after the September 9 deadline will not be accepted, and respondents are solely responsible for timely submission and system compatibility.
