About this opportunity
The City and County of Denver, Department of General Services, Purchasing Division, is requesting proposals for office furniture, installation, and related products and services for Denver International Airport (DEN) under a Master Purchase Order term, with proposals due August 27, 2026 at 2:00 PM and a pre-proposal conference scheduled for August 3 at 11:00 AM.
The scope encompasses a comprehensive commercial-grade furniture catalog including systems furniture, freestanding furniture, seating, soft seating, filing systems, technology support furniture, dining and breakroom furniture, audio/visual furniture, privacy and meeting pods, flooring, and outdoor furniture, plus design and installation services. All products must meet OSHA, NFPA, NIOSH, ANSI, UL, EPA, and BIFMA safety and performance standards. Pricing must be quoted as a percentage discount from manufacturer's list price on an F.O.B. Destination basis, delivered to any City location in Denver. Vendors must provide firm and fixed discounts for the initial contract period, with the option to revise pricing for additional services only once every 365 days beginning in year two.
The City estimates spending approximately $15 million over a six-year period across multiple vendors, though this estimate does not obligate the City to minimum purchases. The Master Purchase Order term runs from City signature through December 31, 2028, with an option for mutual renewal extending through December 31, 2033. Vendors must comply with prevailing wage requirements for contracts exceeding $2,000, Denver minimum wage ordinance, and Davis-Bacon Act compliance where applicable. All contractor employees must pass background checks including federal and state criminal records searches and national sexual offender registry searches; felony convictions result in automatic disqualification. Minimum insurance coverage is $1 million for commercial general liability and $1 million combined single limit for automobile liability.
Written questions are due August 13, 2026 at 2:00 PM, with written responses due August 20. Proposals are submitted electronically through the Rocky Mountain E-Purchasing System (BidNet).
