Vendors must demonstrate a minimum of five years of experience within the last ten years in tank-related services, including upgrading and responding to government requests. The non-mandatory Vendors Conference will be held on Thursday, September 14, 2017, at 10:30 a.m. at The Arboretum of Los Angeles County in Arcadia, California. Statements of Qualifications (SOQ) are due by 12 noon on Thursday, September 28, 2017, at 301 North Baldwin Avenue (North Gate) in Arcadia, CA 91007. SOQs received after the deadline will be evaluated on an as-needed basis throughout the term of the Master Agreement. Additional minimum qualifications are detailed in Section 1.4 of the RFSQ document.
The solicitation does not explicitly mention specific set-aside designations or restrictions for disadvantaged enterprises. Potential respondents can access the full RFSQ document and register for future contracting opportunities through the County's website at http://doingbusiness.lacounty.gov/. Individuals with disabilities can request alternative formats or accommodations by contacting the Contracts and Golf Division at (626) 821-4600 at least three days before the Vendors Conference. The procurement does not provide specific details about award values or comprehensive budget ranges for the anticipated Master Agreements. Vendors interested in participating must carefully review the complete RFSQ document to understand the full scope of requirements, including technical specifications, submission guidelines, and evaluation criteria. The contract appears designed to create a pool of qualified vendors who can be called upon as needed for fuel tank-related services across Los Angeles County's park and recreation facilities.
