About this file
This is a Request for Statements of Qualifications (RFSQ) issued by the County of Los Angeles Department of Parks and Recreation for as-needed Fuel Tank Testing, Inspecting, and Maintenance Services. The department seeks to establish Master Agreements with qualified vendors to provide uniform services for testing, inspecting, certifying, repairing, and maintaining both Underground Storage Tanks (UST) and Above Ground Storage Tanks (AST) across various county facilities and programs. A non-mandatory Vendors Conference will be held on Thursday, September 14, 2017, at 10:30 a.m. at The Arboretum of Los Angeles County, Bamboo Room, 301 North Baldwin Avenue, Arcadia, California 91007. Statements of Qualifications must be submitted by 12 noon on Thursday, September 28, 2017, at the same address. SOQs received after the deadline will be evaluated on an as-needed basis throughout the term of the Master Agreement.
Qualified vendors must demonstrate a minimum of five (5) years of experience within the last ten (10) years in testing, inspecting, certifying, repairing, and maintaining underground and above ground storage tanks, as well as upgrading and responding to government requests. Additional minimum qualifications are detailed in Section 1.4 of the RFSQ. The Request for Statements of Qualifications and registration for future contracting opportunities are available on the County's website at http://doingbusiness.lacounty.gov/. Individuals with disabilities may contact the Contracts and Golf Division at (626) 821-4600 at least three (3) days before the Vendors Conference to request alternative formats or accommodations.
