About this opportunity
The Florida Department of Law Enforcement (FDLE) is seeking to procure maintenance and technical support services for the Florida Regional Law Enforcement Information Exchange (LInX) system through single-source procurement, with vendor information due September 3, 2026. This is a sole-source acquisition: Peraton, Inc. is the only entity authorized under federal contract N00189-22-D-Z036 to perform maintenance and support on the proprietary LInX system.
The LInX system integrates data from Records Management Systems, Jail Management Systems, Computer Aided Dispatch, pawn systems, and registries to facilitate law enforcement data sharing across the region. Peraton has maintained uninterrupted service since acquiring Northrop Grumman's Federal IT and mission support services division on February 1, 2021; Northrop Grumman originally delivered the system through competitive ITN in 2015. The scope includes preventive maintenance, system administration, and proprietary software support for the Florida Regional LInX node, with Peraton holding exclusive responsibility for all systems administration tasks integral to compliance, security, and operational continuity.
The estimated contract value is $335,000 for a one-year term from October 1, 2026 through September 30, 2027. The procurement will remain posted for at least 15 business days in accordance with Florida Statutes sections 120.57(3) and 287.057(3). Inquiries should be directed to Savanna Redding, FDLE, 850-410-7300 or FDLEOGSContracts@fdle.state.fl.us.
Opportunity text
The FDLE's Florida Regional LInX system, essential for law enforcement data sharing, was originally acquired through a competitive ITN from Northrop Grumman in 2015. This system integrates data from various sources, including RMS, JMS, CAD, pawn systems, and registries. On February 1, 2021, Peraton, Inc. acquired Northrop Grumman's Federal IT and mission support services. Since then, Peraton has maintained uninterrupted service for our LInX system. FDLE is seeking to continue receiving these vital maintenance and support services through a single source procurement.
Peraton is the only entity authorized under federal contract N00189-22-D-Z036 to perform maintenance and support on the Law Enforcement Information Exchange (LInX) system. The proprietary software and systems administration tasks integral to LInX are exclusively managed by Peraton, ensuring compliance, security, and operational continuity. This includes exclusive responsibility for the Florida Regional LInX node, covering all aspects such as preventive maintenance, system administration, and proprietary software support. Given these circumstances, Peraton is the only vendor capable of fulfilling FDLE's needs for this system.
