About this opportunity

The Board of Supervisors of Louisiana State University and Agricultural & Mechanical College is requesting bids under RFQ-0000002927 for transportation and disposal of hazardous (non-radioactive) waste across multiple LSU campuses, with bids due November 10, 2026 at 11:00 a.m. Central Time. The solicitation mandates an "all or none" award methodology — the successful bidder must provide all requested services and materials or cannot be awarded.

The scope spans transportation services (box truck loads and dedicated truck loads) across six LSU locations: Baton Rouge Campus and Pennington (10 box truck trips and 1 dedicated truck trip), Shreveport Campus and Health Sciences Campus (4 box truck trips and 1 dedicated truck trip), Eunice Campus (1 box truck trip and 1 dedicated truck trip), Alexandria Campus (1 box truck trip and 1 dedicated truck trip), and New Orleans Campus and Health Sciences Campus (6 box truck trips and 1 dedicated truck trip). Disposal services cover bulk nonhalogenated solvents in 30-gallon drums (5 units) and 55-gallon drums (15 units), bulk halogenated solvents in 30-gallon drums (5 units) and 55-gallon drums (15 units), and bulk organic or aqueous liquids. Pricing must be quoted on a net, firm basis FOB LSU Destination with all delivery charges and applicable discounts included in the unit price. Bid prices remain firm for a minimum of 30 days.

Bids must be submitted electronically to lsubids@lsu.edu using LSU's provided forms, signed by an authorized supplier representative (pencil submissions and unsigned bids will not be accepted). Suppliers must be enrolled in LSU's Workday procurement system prior to submission and must submit a completed W-9 or W-8 form. The successful bidder must furnish a certificate of insurance naming the Board of Supervisors as an additional insured on all liability policies. Payment will be made within 30 days of invoice receipt or delivery and acceptance, whichever is later. The contract is governed by Louisiana law and the University Procurement Code (LAC 34:XIII. Chapters 3-25). LSU reserves the right to award items separately, grouped, or on an all-or-none basis, and to reject any bids.
