About this opportunity

Cumberland County, North Carolina is requesting sealed bids for coolers and freezers upgrades at Crown Coliseum, 1960 Coliseum Drive, Fayetteville, with bids due September 17, 2026 at 2:00 p.m. and a pre-bid conference on September 1, 2026 at 3:00 p.m. at the project site. The scope encompasses demolition of existing walk-in cooler and freezer evaporator units, condensing units, and refrigerant piping across the main kitchen/commissary, service pantry, vendor depot, and concession areas. Work must comply with SMACNA standards, the 2018 North Carolina Energy Conservation Code, and the National Electrical Code. All work must be completed within 210 consecutive calendar days from issuance of Notice to Proceed on a lump-sum basis with a base bid and alternate option.

Bid bond is required at submission; performance and payment bonds are required upon award. The contractor must comply with North Carolina contractor licensing, E-Verify employment verification, and Iran Final Divestment List certification requirements. No bids may be withdrawn for 60 days following bid closing.
