About this opportunity

Qualified Disabled Veteran Business Enterprise (DVBE) proposers receive a 3 percent incentive increase to their final evaluation score.
The scope covers installation of modular carpet tile in Ashlar pattern with North/South orientation (approximately 717 square feet in staff training areas) and rubber cove wall base at 6 inches height, along with removal of approximately 250 square feet of existing tile flooring. Carpet must be Tarkett Powerbond Hybrid carpet tiles in 36-inch squares (Style 04654 Metri II, Color 6061 6 Mid-Grey Shard) or approved equal from Bentley Prince Street Commercial or Shaw Contract Group; rubber wall base from Mannington, Johnsonite, or Burke. New products only are required; used or refurbished items and alternate brands will not be accepted. Carpet must comply with CHPS Low Emitting Materials requirements, be free of anti-microbial protection, meet ADA accessibility standards, and include a 10-year manufacturer warranty from substantial completion. All work must occur during regular business hours (8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., Monday through Friday) with coordination of noisy activities and compliance with Court security procedures.
Work is anticipated to commence September or October 2026. This is a public works project subject to California prevailing wage requirements; contractors must register with the Department of Industrial Relations and maintain certified payrolls. A payment bond is required if the contract exceeds $25,000. Pricing must be all-inclusive excluding sales tax and remain firm for 90 days from submission. The Court may award multiple contracts to more than one vendor with no minimum procurement obligation, though it may prefer to award the entire bid to a single vendor and is not obligated to consider partial bids. Bids are submitted electronically via Bonfire at https://lacourt.bonfirehub.com/. Vendors must accept the Court's standard Purchase Order Terms and Conditions; material exceptions may render a bid nonresponsive. All bids must include disclosure of any generative AI use that materially impacts system functionality, Court risk, or contract performance.
