The construction budget is $200,000. Substantial completion is required within 90 days after Notice to Proceed.
Opportunity text
County intends to implement improvements at the site to stabilize the existing retaining wall and address erosion and drainage concerns in the surrounding area. Project is located at 3500 Brushy Creek Road in Cedar Park, TX., immediately downstream of Upper Brushy Creek WCID Dam No. 7. The existing retaining wall is approximately 170 feet long and has experienced localized cracking, erosion, undermining, and loss of subgrade support along portions of the wall. The project will rehabilitate approximately 60 linear feet of the existing retaining wall through localized foundation stabilization, grading, and erosion-protection improvements in accordance with the construction plans and recommendations of the geotechnical engineer. The work generally includes compaction grouting beneath the affected retaining wall footing, localized grading, placement of approximately 265 square yards of stone riprap for slope stabilization and erosion protection, wetland-edge revegetation/plantings, replacement of approximately 145 linear feet of metal wire fence, temporary erosion and sedimentation controls, site restoration, and related incidental work. Construction will occur within a constrained area adjacent to the Brushy Creek Regional Trail, the Dam No. 7 spillway, and a City of Austin Critical Environmental Feature wetland, requiring coordination of access, staging, environmental protection, and trail operations during construction. The Project includes all utilities, drainage, roadways, parking, landscaping and walkways to structures and landscaping associated with structures.
