About this opportunity

The Village of Oak Park, Illinois Office of the Village Engineer is requesting proposals for Project 26-15, Bike Boulevard Pavement Marking and Signage Improvements, with electronic proposals due July 16, 2026 at 10:00 a.m. The work is subject to the Illinois Prevailing Wage Act.

The scope consists of installation of pavement markings using polyurea, Methyl Methacrylate (MMA), and thermoplastic materials; fabrication and installation of signs; and installation of telescoping steel sign supports with all appurtenant work. Bid documents are available for a non-refundable charge of $64.00 through the Village website at https://www.oak-park.us/your-government/budget-purchasing/requests-proposals or through QuestCDN under number 10250478. Documents became available June 25, 2026 at 10:00 p.m., and no documents will be issued after 4:00 p.m. on the working day preceding the bid opening. The Village reserves the right to issue plans and specifications only to contractors deemed qualified.

The proposal due date of July 16, 2026 represents a tight five-day turnaround from the public posting date, which compresses pre-bid inquiry and document-acquisition windows. No contract value, contract term, incumbent contractor, evaluation criteria, pre-bid meeting, or question deadline are specified in the available notice.
